Miami artist Erik Speyer Art Exhibit at Turnberry Bank’s South Miami Office

SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA – The artwork of Miami artist Erik Speyer will be on display at Turnberry Bank’s South Miami branch (7312 Red Road) through April 23rd, announces Mari Colina, vice president and office manager. “We are delighted to showcase several of Mr. Speyer’s watercolors and oils in our office,” said Colina. “His works will be available for viewing anytime from 9:00 a. m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Everyone is welcome to stop by and visit.”

Speyer has displayed his works in numerous local, national and international juried shows such as the Mystic Seaport International Maritime Masters Exhibition, and has garnered prestigious awards such as Best in Show in The Best and the Brightest, Scottsdale, AZ, 2007. His work is currently displayed in Scottsdale, Arizona, Mystic Seaport, Connecticut and Miami.

Early in his career as a self-taught artist, Speyer began to paint outdoors, en plein air.  He became a regular on the Miami River and has continued to paint in such  diverse places as Monhegan Island, Maine, the northern coast of California, Georgia, Guanajuato, Mexico and closer to home, the Everglades, central Florida and Key West.
